This session begins with the AIMS SIG Chair introducing and updating the audience on the SIG (members, aims, goals, and current development areas). The chair then moves on to introducing the current R landscape and the collaborations the SIGs members are working on. This is followed by three talks on 1) Open Source Collaboration for Comparing analysis method implementations in software (CAMIS) 2) It is the best of times and the worst of times: A summary of working on R in open source and 3) Plugging the gaps: lessons learned from implementing the ‘mmrm’ (mixed models for repeated measures) R package.
