You can expand your network, improve your leadership skills and learn from more senior colleagues in the industry. Mentors and mentees will be matched based on experience, personal goals and the sector they work in (unless otherwise requested) so you can be assured that we will aim to tailor the experience to your needs.
For further resources, be sure to keep checking our Careers webpage. University students interested in learning more about the industry should consider the MEDMathS webinar and the annual Medical Statistics Careers Event. There is also a quarterly Career Young Virtual Meet where you can meet with new starters in the industry.
The PSI Mentoring Scheme is aimed at:
a) Members looking to further their careers by expanding their network and learning from more senior colleagues in the industry by having a mentor.
b) Members who are looking to improve their leadership skills and help guide junior colleagues in the industry by mentoring others.
Additional guidance about the content of the sessions and how to make the most out of each meeting will be provided at a later date.
