Social Programme

Social Programme

The social activities are always a key component of the PSI Conference programme. There are events included within the delegate registration fee on the three evenings of the conference. If you are interested in attending the events please ensure that the boxes are ticked when completing the registration process. The social events will give everyone the chance to catch up and engage with colleagues outside of the sessions.

The PSI conference is well known for its networking and social elements. There will be plenty of time to mingle in the Exhibitors area during the breaks/lunch and at the Poster session. In addition, we have social events planned for each evening (and the odd morning)!

The social events are as follows:

Welcome Reception: Sunday June 11 7pm-10pm
It will be held in the Cognac Suite at Novotel London West. This is located on the same floor as the hotel lobby. Drinks and nibbles will be served throughout the evening to welcome you, whether you have just attended one of our pre-conference courses, or just landed from your flight.

Monday 12 June – Morning Run

As traditional at the PSI conference, there will be an informal, early morning run on the Monday. The run will start and finish outside the Novotel London West main reception. Please meet at 6:50am for a 7am start.  The run will be just over 3 miles and take around 40 minutes, with a mixed pace and plenty of opportunity to chat to fellow runners.

Monday Evening Social: Monday June 12 8pm-11pm

The Monday evening social event is sponsored by Exploristics.

After enjoying the poster presentations and poster session in the conference hotel join us at The Prince. The West Brompton venue will give you the space to to relax with a drink and selection of street food whilst networking. Drinks vouchers for the evening will be available on entry at the venue.

Conference Gala Dinner: Tuesday June 13 7:30pm-11:30pm

The Gala Dinner is sponsored by Phastar.

It will be held at Novotel London West, where our daytime plenary room will be transformed into a suitable space for dancing, singing and a three course dinner.  We will start the evening with a welcome drink on your arrival before sitting down for our meal. After eating, the dancing can begin and we will be entertained by a superb band, with plenty of photo opportunities available at our photobooth. There is no formal dress code, but we would encourage you to dress to impress for this one.

Attendance at all three social events is complimentary for full three day delegate conference passes.
