DESCRIPTION:Date: Wednesday&nbsp\;4th March 2026\nTime:&nbsp\;12:00 - 13:00
  (GMT)\nLocation:&nbsp\;Online via Zoom\nSpeakers:&nbsp\;Tim Morris (Novar
tis)\, Karen Smith (UCB)\, Claire Brittain (Novartis)\, Emma Crawford (Cha
ir of PSI DEIB Advisory Group)\n\nWho is this event intended for?:\nPSI 20
26 Conference presentation and poster presenters/authors. All PSI members
welcome.\n\nWhat is the benefit of attending?:\nTo gain insight into devel
oping presentations and posters with impact that are accessible to all.\nC
ost\nThis webinar is free to both Members of PSI and Non-Members.\nRegistr
ation\nTo register for this event\, please click here\nOverview\nThis webi
nar brings together three complementary perspectives to help PSI contribut
ors develop conference presentations and posters that communicate clearly\
, engage audiences\, and reflect inclusive practice. Across the session\,
participants will explore how to refine their message\, prepare effectivel
y\, and deliver with confidence.\n\nWe begin by examining how to move from
substance to message\, focusing on what makes a talk genuinely resonate.
This segment encourages presenters to think about what their audience will
remember\, how to frame complex ideas with clarity\, and how to avoid com
mon communication pitfalls that can dilute an otherwise strong contributio
 n. The aim is to help presenters shape their material in a way that suppor
ts understanding and impact.\n\nThe second session turns to the practicali
ties of preparation. Rather than offering an exhaustive checklist\, it hig
hlights the habits and decisions that make the biggest difference: identif
ying core messages\, preparing materials with intention\, rehearsing in wa
ys that improve delivery\, and navigating the realities of both oral and p
oster formats. The emphasis is on preparation that supports accessibility\
, reduces stress\, and helps presenters feel ready for the day.\n\nWe clos
e with a reflective session on inclusive presenting\, inviting participant
s to consider their own experiences as audience members and presenters. Th
rough guided questions and shared insights\, the session surfaces the barr
iers people commonly face in talks and explores simple\, memorable princip
les that help make presentations more inclusive.\n\nTogether\, these sessi
ons equip attendees to design\, prepare\, and deliver conference contribut
 ions that are engaging\, inclusive\, and impactful. \nSpeaker details\n\n\
